Jesus Corona's talent and traits are what made Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara try to bring the Mexican winger to the Rossoneri club in the last transfer market window. But, Porto were not going to let their star leave easily and asked for 15 million euros fee, an amount which the Italian club management had no intention to reach.
The Portuguese club board refused an offer from Milan which was valued at 10 million euros, writes Calciomercato.com. For the record, Corona's contract is set to expire in June 2022.
According to what is reported by Record, Jesus Corona asked for 6 million euros yearly salary in order to renew his deal.
As for Milan, it is a clear sign that they might not be trying again for the Mexican anytime soon as they have already invested their money in Junior Messias, coming from Crotone.
However, if Samu Castillejo were to leave, Milan would try to go all in for the purchase of Romain Faivre from Brest. On the other hand, Jesus Corona has a market in Spain as some La Liga clubs are interested in securing his transfer.
