French outfit Paris Saint-Germain are always looking to bolster their squad with important names in the transfer market. The next opportunity in their radar is none other than AC Milan's number 79, Franck Kessié.
The player from Cote d'Ivoire has been an absolute guarantee on the middle of the pitch for the club and his consistency earned him quite the recognition in Serie A and in the world. Now, Milan must work on trying to keep the player with a new contract as his deal is set to expire at the end of the current season.
According to what is reported by Footmercato, a French online outlet, PSG are very keen on securing the player's signature. The French club's sporting director, Leonardo, who was formerly a Milan director, coach, and player, has contacted Paolo Maldini for a possible negotiation in January in the event that the Ivorian decided to leave.
If Kessié were to leave in January, then Milan would be able to collect a few millions at least as a small transfer fee.
As for the contract renewal talks with Milan, the source adds that Milan proposed 6.8 million euros net per year while the French giants have offered 9 million euros net as a yearly salary.
