AC Milan wants to renew the contract of star midfielder Franck Kessié, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the current season. But, in order to do that, an economic sacrifice must be done.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, Milan management has offered the player a yearly salary of 6.5 million euros for the extension. However, the player refused.
The Ivorian midfielder has the attention of French giants PSG who are ready with a proposal worth 8 million euros plus another 2 million euros in bonuses.
The newspaper reports that the player's future is uncertain at this point, and leaving in July on a free transfer is a possibility.
