AC Milan signed Brahim Diaz on a renewed loan deal from Real Madrid. The Spaniard took the number 10 and is now leading the attacking midfield for coach Stefano Pioli's squad. The former Manchester City player started the season well.
The Rossoneri managers, Frederic Massara and Paolo Maldini attempted to conclude another deal with Real Madrid over one more player: Marco Asensio, reports Marca.
As per the newspaper, the club directors had offered to the Spanish giants a paid loan move with an option to purchase the player's card, which was the same transfer formula done for the arrival of Brahim Diaz.
Premier League club, though, Tottenham was also interested in Asensio as well as Milan. It was the player who said no to a move away from Real Madrid because he wanted to stay and fight for a spot in Carlo Ancelotti's squad.
