Tiémoué Bakayoko, who signed with AC Milan coming from Chelsea on a 2-year-loan deal, made his debut yesterday in the match against SS Lazio.
The French midfielder entered the game in the 61st minute to take over Franck Kessié. The player suffered racist chants from some Lazio fans who were present at the San Siro yesterday.
Now, the player has taken to social media and said the following as a response:
"Thank you for the warm welcome, Rossoneri. I’m unfortunately injured for my debut but the most important are the 3 points from the team. And to some Lazio fans and their racist cries towards to me and my brother, Franck Kessié. We are strong and proud of our skin colour. I have all confidence in our club to identify them."
AC Milan have issued a statement last night as they announced that they are considering to file a complaint to FIGC following the racist abuse that Bakayoko suffered during the game against the Biancocelesti.
