Manchester United coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, spoke to the media about former Milan player, Diogo Dalot, who was on loan last season at the Rossoneri:
"Diogo had a great summer. He was called up for the Euros, he did well with Portugal's Under-21 team. He learned a lot in the loan season at Milan. He has qualities that we will try to get to know better, because now he has more. Last year's loan to Milan was supposed to allow him to gain experience and have minutes. I think he did well when he entered the field on Tuesday in Bern (against Young Boys)."
AC Milan were reportedly pushing to sign Diogo Dalot again this summer. However, Man United did not want to let go of the Portuguese player again. Therefore, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara settled on signing Alessandro Florenzi from AS Roma on loan. The Italian full-back was on loan last season at French side PSG.
