As reported by today's edition of the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Franck Kessié's renewal is on standby with AC Milan.
The midfielder from Cote d'Ivoire has his future uncertain. The former Atalanta player would like to stay with the club, but 'at his own terms'. However, the Rossoneri managing directors, have their own point of view and ideas.
AC Milan management is not willing to change their stance and they are standing by it. There is no agreement reached between the involved parties.
Paolo Maldini and Massara have proposed a 5-year-deal to Kessié's agent, George Atangana. The salary would be 5 million euros plus bonuses. In the fourth and fifth year of the contract, however, there will be a guaranteed 6.5 million yearly salary.
As for the Rossoneri number 79, the request is between 6.5 and 7 million euros plus bonuses.
There is an important gap between the club and their star midfielder. Constant talks are ongoing between the parties. But, Milan believe that Franck Kessié must make a step towards his club to facilitate the deal for them and reach an agreement in the middle.
The Rossoneri club executives and directors believe that they have submitted a more than fair offer to their midfielder.
