AC Milan went to Turin to play against a strong side, who is on the wrong side of the Serie A table: Juventus.
The match started with Milan pressing very high and Allegri's men punishing the Rossoneri for their mistake and space which was left at the back.
Juventus, after the goal, held the ball well and Milan did not have an answer to disrupt the white and black's domination in midfield.
Stefano Pioli's pressing tactics did not work as planned and at the back, Juve tried to outpace the defenders and midfield.
Besides playing a few days ago against Liverpool at a very high tempo, it did not help that Milan entered with many key absences and lack of depth as Ibrahimovic, Giroud, Bakayoko, Calabria, and Krunic were out due to injury while Messias is reportedly not fit to play yet. Simon Kjaer is now added to that list as he was forced to leave the pitch.
Then, Fikayo Tomori was moved back to his usual position as centre-back while Kalulu entered as he did a good job as the right-back. Now, the French youngster must enter coach Pioli's calculation more often while Calabria is out. Kalulu once again proved to be a good player who is desperate to show quality and good potential.
As for the left flank, Theo Hernandez was not impressive as he had a silent game just like his teammate Franck Kessié. Sandro Tonali, however, was the only 'engine' running at a certain point during the match.
After Morata's goal, Milan lost control. However, after watching Liverpool's game, Milan is clearly always dangerous if given even a little bit of space. In the second half, Rebic managed to put the ball once again past one of his now favourite victims and secured the draw for his club.
Stefano Pioli and his men, return with one precious point after a very-well and hard-fought battle in Turin against Allegri's boys. Now, the focus is on the next match in schedule: Serie A matchday 5 against newly-promoted team Venezia. Milan's coaching staff and medical team will have to work together to see if there should be any players who can be ready to reinforce the team after their injury.
