In the draw against Juventus at the Allianz stadium, Ante Rebic emerged once again as the hero of the match. He produced a goal against the Bianconeri which saved the team from the first loss of the Serie A campaign.
Today's edition of the Milan-based newspaper, La Gazzetta dello Sport, highlights the Croatian forward who proved yet again that he can contribute as a striker besides being a natural winger.
He pressed well, covered much ground and tried to create space, then his effort was well-compensated by a header goal.
The newspaper writes that Rebic is the leader of the attack now after important display of quality against Lazio, Liverpool and Juventus. He made coach Pioli not regret the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud.
Now the challenge is, however, that the 27-year-old player continues to deliver these good performances throughout the course of the season.
