AC Milan's former legendary player, the dutch ex midfielder, Ruud Gullit, spoke to the media in occasion of Giacinto Facchetti about the last two matches against Liverpool and Juventus:
"I am very happy that they have found the right path. I saw the team against Juve and Liverpool; they suffered a lot and had some luck in the goals. The speed of the English was too much for the Rossoneri but in the second half the right way was found to face them. I think this match will help Milan improve in the league and become even stronger. Little by little they will take a step forward for a Milan that can win."
About Zlatan Ibrahimovic's presence:
"With him it's always nice, but when there is no other player to replace him... If he should have won the Ballon d'Or? There are many high-level players, but for what he is doing, he is a champion. I hope he will win an award of recognition for what he has done." replied Gullit.
On the future as a manager at Milan:
"Nobody contacted me from Milan. They took another path with many former players who are not in the Rossoneri, apart from Maldini."
