AC Milan have been linked with wide variety of footballers in the last transfer market window as the scouting department always looks for the best suitable opportunities.
Toma Basic has reportedly been a target of the Rossoneri. His agent spoke to Radio Punto Nuovo and confirmed AC Milan's interest:
"Basic is a player of great quality: Napoli, Atalanta and Milan were on the player. He needs time, he has technique. He has to adapt to Italian football, but with Sarri who is a great coach everything will be easier. I am convinced that he can have an important season, Italy has always been our first choice."
Toma Basic, Croatian 24-year-old midfielder, signed in the summer for Lazio coming from French side Bordeaux on a low-cost deal. His contract with the Biancocelesti, led by coach Maurizio Sarri currently, is valid until June 30, 2026.
