AC Milan management who are working to suit the needs of coach Stefano Pioli in the season are keeping an eye on a new talent.
The Rossoneri club managing directors are carrying on with the same strategy, which is signing young profiles that can add quality to the roster.
In this sense, technical director Paolo Maldini wants to strengthen the midfield of the team in view of the January transfer market window, given that Franck Kessié could leave. Maldini and Ricky Massara are keeping a close eye on a potential heir of Kessié: French player of Monaco Aurelien Tchouameni. The player is 21 years old with a contract ending in June 30th, 2024.
Signing Tchouameni, however, will not be easy at all because some big European clubs are already keeping tabs on the player's progress and situation. In particular, as mentioned by Calciomercatonews.com, there is interest from Manchester City, Bayern Munich and especially Juventus. The former Bordeaux star, though, is valued at around 35 to 40 million euros.
According to the same source, Milan are aware that Tchouameni's pricetag is high. In return, they could consider sacrificing Ismael Bennacer by selling him since he is also valued somewhere close to 40 million euros. This move would ensure that Milan collects an important amount of money necessary to reinvest in one of the most promising talents in French football.
