Spezia Coach, Thiago Motta, presented to the media his thoughts ahead of the match against AC Milan, valid for fixture 6 of the Serie A this season.
He spoke about the Rossoneri's qualities and confirmed that it will be a tough match:
"I expect the best possible Milan. They are a great team with a great coach, they have been demonstrating since the beginning of the season both in the league and in the Champions League, where they played a great match against a fantastic Liverpool. It is up to us to work and try to bring certain moments in our favour, in the difficulties that Milan may have. We have to take advantage of it and get the match momentum on our side."
On Janis Antiste:
"He is physically and mentally well, since he arrived he knows his role and is showing it in training", said Thiago Motta, "He makes enormous efforts, I'm glad he scored against Juventus. It's good for him, but other things also count. He must continue to improve and learn, I am thinking of the match against Udinese in which he did not score but did a huge job: he ran and defended. In the goal he scored, I told the boys, that he was the only one to put pressure on to retrieve the ball. These things matter a lot, then if he scores I'm happy for him. He can score in the area, right and left, I'm happy with his performance and I hope he will continue like this."
On the physical conditions of Eddie Salcedo and David Strelec:
"They are both fine, so they are in the group for tomorrow. Those in the group have the opportunity to start from the beginning or enter the game in progress, as did Eddie who played with Juventus in the last minutes, when a player can make a difference. We have seen that many games are won at the end, it is our case with Bourabia who scored at the last minute in Venice. The two of them are in the group, they are training well and we will see what happens."
