Media report: Barcelona tries for AC Milan talent by offering two exchange proposals

In the Serie A, AC Milan is in a good form, 4 wins and a draw against Juventus at the Allianz stadium is a very good start. The team has been good and showed much maturity and strength thanks to elements of experience like Ibrahimovic and Kjaer but also thanks to talent and qualities of the younger ones who are eager to prove themselves on the pitch.

The good performances of Stefano Pioli's boys has now brought the attention of several clubs, reportedly. One of the most interesting one is Barcelona knocking on the Rossoneri's door for Portuguese forward Rafael Leao.

AC Milan's number 17 is still not a complete attacker, but his potential and abilities made the Blaugrana board really interested in signing him.

According to what is reported by Calciomercatoweb.it, Barcelona want to sign Rafael Leao after witnessing a lot of attacking difficulties especially with the departure of Lionel Messi.

Barça, to convince Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are willing to offer on the table the card of ex Inter winger: Philippe Coutinho. However, Milan does not think of the Brazilian much because signing him would cost a lot on the books due to the salary.

For that reason, the Spanish giants are also willing to give up the card of 22-year-old talented midfielder Riqui Puig whose contract expires in 2023. The Rossoneri management, though, are not really convinced of letting go Leao in exchange for Riqui Puig. Therefore, they would be inclined to return the offer back to the sender and reject initiating talks with Barcelona.
