AC Milan, lost their second match in a row in the Champions League competition. After a loss against Liverpool with a 3-2 result. Yesterday, a frustrating and disappointing result arrived at San Siro, Milan were dominating the match until the red card that Kessié received. Then, Atlético Madrid scored an equaliser in the 86th minute and the winner thanks to a penalty in the dying minutes of the match.

La Gazzetta dello Sport discussed the match and crowned Brahim Diaz as the best player on the pitch with a 7.5 rating. Fikayo Tomori also had the same rating with Rafael Leao.

On the other hand, Mike Maignan who made some important saves had a 6.5 rating as a reward for his qualities displayed. He shared that mark with Davide Calabria, Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali.

Theo Hernandez and Pierre Kalulu's respective performances were marked with 6, and with them there was also Alexis Saelemaekers.

Ante Rebic, 5.5, did not show what he could do because he was substituted early in the first half after a red card shown to Franck Kessié who was the worst player on the pitch. He received a rating of 4. Team captain, Alessio Romagnoli, also had a disappointing game as he had a 5.5 rating.

Alessandro Florenzi received a 5 rating, he continues to deliver underwhelming performances. AC Milan's experienced attacker, Olivier Giroud, did not do much and therefore had also a 4. Fodé Ballo-Touré's performance was graded with a mark of 6.

The newspaper's rating to the Turkish referee Cakir is 4.
