Managers of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are aiming to keep the squad competitive and strong. One of their objectives is bringing a strong player to reinforce the attacking department.
The player in question plays for Napoli and has a contract expiring in June 2022: Lorenzo Insigne.
Insigne's agent, Vincenzo Pisacane, met with Napoli's president and owner De Laurentiis. The situation is that the attacker would like to stay but also expects a significant salary increase. As for the club owner though, he wants to keep the balance sheet in order and not overspend. Therefore, a farewell at the end of the season is over.
AC Milan, according to Tuttosport, continues to monitor the player's situation. In the summer, in fact, there was a meeting between the Rossoneri management and the agent. Insigne's role is already occupied by Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao. But, signing him on a free transfer would be a big hit in the market. Tottenham are also interested in signing the player.
