Inter and AC Milan are focusing together on the new stadium project. The clubs' managements are convinced that owning a modern stadium is the right way to improve the financial aspects and image exposure.
As pointed out by La Gazzetta dello Sport, however, the new San Siro project has been put on standby mode for some time now. This is because there are upcoming elections. Once it is done, and when Beppe Sala's re-election has been official (as he is likely to win), the two clubs now hope that the road will be smoothed and there will be no more obstacles for the construction of the new facility.
