AC Milan fitness trainer, Matteo Osti granted an interview to those at Gazzetta dello Sport and revealed an interesting insight about the players' work at Milanello:
"This year we were able to do adequate work before the start of the season. It is not a methodological change, but an added value compared to last year. The delays due to the pandemic had almost eliminated the space between one championship and another."
Matteo Osti continued to talk about the pillars of the work at Milanello:
"Awareness and responsibility. The player must also be involved during athletic work, he is an active part of it. This is why we aim to involve as much as possible even those who play less. It is not uncommon to see players at work, even an hour after the session is over. They remain to recover, they learn to manage themselves."
