After the Nations League game between Italy and Belgium, which ended in the Italians favour 2-1, coach Roberto Martinez of Belgian national team commented about AC Milan's winger, Alexis Saelemaekers' progress. Here are his words:
"We have carefully watched his evolution, he has showed excellent signs since the Under 21 but the big change started with his way of playing for AC Milan."
"Alexis is ready, the more important the opportunity is, the more he responds present", said coach Martinez, "He went to the perfect club, Milan are constantly growing and he responded well with the Rossoneri. He will be very important for the future of the Belgian national team. He has grown a lot in recent months, he has transformed from the player seen in Anderlecht."
