Philippe Mexès, 39-year-old former AC Milan centre-back, who spent 5 years at Milanello, spoke about Simon Kjaer to the microphones of Rete Sport. Here are his words:
"I find myself a little bit in Kjaer in his ways, in his look, he followed a similar path to mine with Roma and then Milan. At Roma, I could have certainly continued and ended my career there, but then there were several 'episodes', there was also the sale of the club, then I had the opportunity to go to AC Milan at that moment they were at a higher level and I decided to join them."
"I saw how they treated Francesco Totti or Daniele De Rossi after some time", said Mexès, "two great men, think how they would have treated me."
