Franco Baresi, legendary captain of AC Milan and now honorary Vice President of AC Milan has talked about his career to Radio Rossonera, as relayed by Milanpress.it:
"Football has been everything for me, ever since I was a few years old I cultivated this innate passion for the game. I wrote the book just to express my emotions, what I felt for football as a child until today. The relationship with this club has lasted since I was 14 also because it was my lifeline: they waited for me, it made me grow and the club made me become who I am. AC Milan is like a second family for me. I am still in the club, I can only say thank you. I have always remained peacefully without ever regretting anything."
The iconic Italian played for Milan as a centre-back and spent his entire 20-year-career with the Red and Black shirt.
