AC Milan announced it with an official statement on their website.
The player is doing well and is in isolation at home. The whole team has been tested with a negative result. Close monitoring with swab tests will follow according to the indications provided by the relevant health authorities, who were immediately informed.
The player took to social media to say the following:
"I am isolated at home after testing positive for coronavirus. Fortunately I am fine, thank you for your messages. Now it's my turn to cheer on the team from here for a few days."
