In today's edition, La Gazzetta dello Sport discussed the game of Bologna - AC Milan and reviewed the referee's decisions who handed 2 red cards to Mihajlovic's team.
The Milano-based newspaper granted the referee a rating of 5 regarding his performance last night because he did not direct the match with confidence.
According to the source, Adama Soumaoro's red card was doubtful. Paolo Valeri thought that Rade Krunic would have gotten control of the ball if it weren't for the last defender's intervention. The decision was not entirely convincing.
However, the second red card which was shown to Soriano for his horror tackle on Ballo-Touré was right. Valeri did not see the bad challenge and is rightly recalled to the on field review thanks to VAR.
Arnautovic, already booked, had a strong intervention on Simon Kjaer, but he was pardoned. He could have been shown a second yellow.
