AC Milan won a difficult match against Torino last night. The Rossoneri collected three precious points in the long Serie A race thanks to a goal by Olivier Giroud in the 14th minute.
La Gazzetta dello Sport discussed the match and provided the ratings. Olivier Giroud was voted as the man of the match thanks to his goal with a 7.5 rating. Sandro Tonali had a good performance as well and showed physicality in midfield and therefore he was awarded a 7.
Ciprian Tatarusanu, Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Rade Krunic and Theo Hernandez all had a decent outing and earned a solid 6.5.
AC Milan Team captain Alessio Romagnoli, on the other hand, who received a yellow card early in the first half and was replaced during half-time was awarded only a 6. Same for Simon Kjaer who started from the bench. Pierre Kalulu, Franck Kessié, Alexis Saelemaekers, Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer all were given a rating of 6, too.
The worst player on the pitch, though, was voted to be Tiémoué Bakayoko. The French midfielder who was recently injured did not convince. The former Chelsea player will need to do more in order to earn the trust of Pioli and deliver some good performances. His rating was 5.5.
