AC Milan are looking to strengthen their attack and it seems that the club managers have found a target who would help keep Stefano Pioli's strong and competitive.
In fact, according to news from Brazilian outlet Torcedores.com, the Rossoneri has reached a verbal agreement with 20-year-old striker Yuri Alberto. Now, the Italian club is trying to find an agreement with Internacional. However, there is a significant gap between Il Diavolo's demand and the Brazilian club's offer.
AC Milan, to sign Yuri Alberto, sent an offer of 10 million euros plus bonuses to Internacional which was immediately rejected.
The Brazilian club is asking for at 20 million euros, as per the report, which claims that there is hope of finding an agreement soon after further negotiations. It is worth noting that there is also a release clause of 80 million euros which Milan does not intend to match.
The player himself is pushing to sign for Milan as he understands that a move to Serie A can put him in the Brazilian national team's radar.
The source also adds that Yuri Alberto did refuse an offer before from Barcelona and does not seem interested in starting a conversation with the Blaugrana any time soon because he understands that their troubled time and lack of planning could damage his development.
Besides Barça and Milan, the striker also has interest from Atletico Madrid, Everton, Lyon, Manchester City, Napoli and Roma.
Yuri Alberto has a contract valid until 2025 and so far scored 18 goals and 4 assists in 49 games in all competitions with Internacional.
