AC Milan are currently first in the standings with Napoli as both teams have 31 points so far in the Serie A campaign.

Paolo Maldini and the entire club management are enjoying the good run in the league and are hoping to continue like this.

The Rossoneri leaders at Casa Milan want to carry on with the same market policy which seems to be working so far which is finding suitable and affordable important talents who would be able to add quality to Stefano Pioli's team.

According to the latest news, AC Milan and Juventus are now racing for a new target available in the transfer market. The new profile is from France. We are talking about Houssem Aouar of Ligue 1 outfit Lyon.

The player is only 23 years old, he occupies the central midfield position as well as that of attacking midfield, and according to what is reported by Calciomercatonews.com, Paolo Maldini is on the trail of the Lyon youth product. He is valued at around 25 million euros which is considered a fair price given Aouar's talent while keeping in mind that his contract is set to expire in June 2023.

For the record, the Franco-Algerian footballer has already 5 goals and 2 assists to his name this season with his club after 15 matches between the Ligue 1 and Europa League competitions. During the last season, Houssem Aouar was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, but a deal never went through.
