Last night, AC Milan collected their first point in the Champions League campaign against Porto after a 1-1 draw at the San Siro.
The Portuguese side scored a controversial goal around the 5th minute when the referee decided to let the play go on despite a foul on Bennacer by Grujic.
According to what is reported by Corriere dello Sport, the French referee Turpin made two mistakes which is counting the goal and the management of the cards.
Porto's goal should have never been allowed due to a clear foul on AC Milan's Algerian midfielder. However, even the VAR did not intervene.
As for the yellow cards, the referee could have managed the game better. He showed Pioli a yellow for protesting but ignores Mehdi Taremi's foul on Theo Hernandez in minute 16 and decides to punish Grujic with a yellow card after his third fould only after the Rossoneri's protests.
