Jesse Lingard, who is not enjoying a very productive season with Manchester United, is reportedly looking to leave the team in order to find an opportunity where he can have more playing time.
This is according to Daily Mail who write that the offensive winger and playmaker woudl prefer to go out in January on a loan move 'and then end a 22-year association with United when his contract runs out at the end of June'.
Once his contract is over, Lingard will be able to sign with any team as a free agent. In fact, as reported by the English source, the player has attracted the interest of AC Milan and FC Barcelona with a representative of Lingard having already traveled to Spain for talks with clubs last week.
Lingard is very eager to play in World Cup 2022 in Qatar after missing out on the Euros competition. He believes that leaving The Red Devils will be the solution for him.
