AC Milan gaffer, Stefano Pioli, after speaking to the media in today's press conference, has granted another interview to the microphones of the club's channels.

Here are his words:

"The team's moment so far? We come from a defeat... But, we know the importance of our match tomorrow (against Atlético Madrid). They are an experienced squad so we know how difficult it's also going to be. But we must and we want to try to be a still courageous and dangerous team to try and bring home the victory."

What will you tell your players?

"There is always something to say, something to underline to try to face the match in the best possible way. Then it is clear that there is not a player of mine who does not know the importance of the match, who does not know the difficulties of the opponent, who does not know the great opportunity we have to show that we are growing on the European path despite the fact that the results are not those we hoped for, but we are starting to be close to great teams", Pioli told Milan TV.

"We must not forget how we played the first half hour against Atletico Madrid in numerical parity, where we were up to a very strong opponent. Our awareness and our confidence must be to do the same tomorrow evening, trying to play ball after ball with great quality, with great intensity, to try to overcome an opponent who is of a high level, is used to these challenges and has been playing in the Champions League for a long time."

Pioli concluded:

"Wanda Metropolitano stadium? I would have preferred to play in Milan but it's nice to play in these stadiums against such opponents. Then it is clear that we have to raise our level of performance, certainly yes. We absolutely have to better manage the situations in the two penalty areas, which were the two situations that penalized us last Sunday."
