AC Milan star midfielder, Franck Kessié, talked about the perfomance of his teammates against Atlético Madrid. Here are the Rossonero number 79's statements to the club's official channel:
"We are all happy with this victory. Last year we dreamed of playing the Champions League, we have to show everyone that we are Milan and that we can play against any side. Our preparations? We follow the coach and try to do whatever he asks. We are working hard at Milanello to play these type of matches."
On Atlético Madrid:
"Altetico is a great team, they are playing the Champions League every year. We are back only after a long time. Today it was important to fight for every ball, the coach told us it was a very physical team. Next matches? Tonight we are happy. The Champions League is not over yet. Now let's go back to Milanello to work even more and do even better than tonight."
Kessié on the next Champions League match vs Liverpool:
"We ask our fans once again to come to the stadium to be the twelfth man on the pitch. If I am tired? It's normal., after 90 minutes of this high level, I am tired. But, I will be back tomorrow (laughs).
