AC Milan have two very good and useful centre-backs who are the pillars of Stefano Pioli's system: Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer.
On the bench, there is the captain Alessio Romagnoli who had a disappointing performance in his last appearance against Sassuolo. The 26-year-old defender who is represented by Mino Raiola also has an expiring contract at the end of the season and the club is yet to be sure on what the future holds for him: either renew on affordable figures or go elsewhere.
In this sense, Geoffrey Moncada, chief of scouts of AC Milan, is evaluating some options in this position as more quality is obviously needed. A player on the list is from Monaco: Benoit Badiashile (Congolese origins). He is 20 years old, French, standing at 194 cm and has a contract expiring in 2024.
The second target watched by Geoffrey Moncada is FC Zurich’s Becir Omeragic. He is 19 years old, Swiss with a contract running out in 2023. According to Transfermarkt, he is valued at 7 million euros.
Finally, the other player appreciated by the AC Milan scout is Italian centre-back Caleb Okoli (Nigerian origins). He is 20 and currently on loan from Atalanta to US Cremonese in Serie B.
