To replace Simon Kjaer, AC Milan must find the right profile who will offer a lot of quality to keep the defensive line strong for Stefano Pioli's system.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are tasked with the duty of finding a good profile to take over from the 32-year-old experienced Dane. Many profiles have already been linked with the club.
Now, as per SportMediaset today, the Rossoneri want to make a new transfer operation à la Tomori. A deal similar to the one made with Chelsea when the 23-year-old English centre-back arrived for less than 30 million euros.
The Italian outlet mention that AC Milan are considering the signing of Lille's young Dutch defensive jewel Sven Botman. The French and Italian clubs have excellent relationships and Paolo Maldini could try to strike a deal at 20 million euros.
Other alternatives, according to SportMediaset, are Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina and Luiz Felipe from Lazio. However, these two targets in Serie A represent much harder deals to complete.
