AC Milan managers are evaluating the team performances and the moves that must be done in order to keep the squad balanced and strong. In this context, a few players did not manage to convince so far such as Tiémoué Bakayoko.
With Bakayoko's arrival to Milan this summer, fans were dreaming that he would repeat his great displays that saw him dominate the midfield under the guidance of the then-headcoach Gennaro Gattuso in the 4-3-3 formation module during the 2018/2019 season. But, so far, his start has been slow and frustrating, like how it began in his first spell with the red and black faithful.
But now, Bakayoko could be already on the move yet again soon if he does not show his worth and prove himself to the coaching staff and the club management.
On the other hand, a Spanish club is watching from the background. ElGolDigital are reporting that Sevilla are looking to find a replacement for 34-year-old midfielder Fernando Reges. Sevilla's sporing director Monchi is looking at the Serie A clubs, which he knows well, and has found in AC Milan the ideal profile as the Chelsea loanee could be a quality signing for them.
As per the Spanish outlet, Bakayoko does not enter the plans of Stefano Pioli. He still has a contract with Chelsea and Milan do have the option to make the signing a permanent one. But, given the performances so far, it looks unlikely...
The former Napoli and Monaco star could therefore end his adventure soon and he might be the newest addition to Julen Lopetegui.
