It is always difficult to sign important players in Janury because usually their clubs do not wnt to let them go in the middle of the season. But, as per the source, there is another reason which complicates the deal: Paolo Maldini wants to sign Sven Botman on loan with the right to exercise an option to buy. However, the French side is asking for a transfer fee of 30 million euros in what would be a permanent sale.
In any case, in the next few hours, the Rossoneri directors will try to step up their efforts in hopes to find an agreement with Lille.
