AC Milan must reinforce their defence and many profiles are being followed by the club management to see which opportunity will be the best one to replace the long absence of Simon Kjaer.
Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara will try to intervene in January in order to sign a defender as they look for an affordable deal because there are not many resources right now. This is why a deal for Sven Botman is really difficult as he is rumoured to be valued around 30 million euros.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a cheaper potential profile that AC Milan are looking at. We are talking about Attila Szalai who plays for Turkish side Fenerbahce. He is a Hungarian 23-year-old centre-back who stands at 192 centimetres tall.
Szalai is valued by the Turkish outfit at 11 million euros which is more affordable for Milan and it is a sum that can be spent in January, unlike the asking price of Sven Botman.
