One of the main obstacles that AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli will have to deal with is the absence of Franck Kessié in January. The Rossonero number 79 will participate with his national team in the African Cup.
The former Atalanta player proved to be an important part of the team especially last season and now, there is much talk about his future as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
According to what is reported by Tuttosport in today's print edition, there is a big distance from Milan and Kessié's agent who is requesting a yearly salary of around 8 to 9 million euros.
These figures are out of reach for Milan but it seems that the player himself is convinced that he can earn it elsewhere as Premier League side Tottenham are keen on signing him as well as Manchester United. Both clubs have already had talks with the agent.
