The AC Milan team who returned to work today at Milanello with coach Pioli are still waiting to reinforce themselves with the return of some important elements from injury.
The season started in a good way for the club in Serie A, but unfortunately, injuries were a big obstacle to the form.
One of the players who can play a big factor to the Rossoneri's return to the consistent winning ways is the Croatian forward Ante Rebic. The 28-year-old left-winger, capable of playing as a centre-forward if necessary, has made 11 appearances so far. 9 were in the Serie A and 2 were in the Champions League. He scored 2 goals and assisted 2 others.
Calciomercato.com report that Rebic is very crucial to the plans of Pioli. In fact, his presence on the field gives an advantage to the left-back Theo Hernandez who would then have much more coverage in defence and more room and freedom in the attacking phase. The former Eintracht Frankfurt man also helps Brahim Diaz a lot as the Spaniard likes to play between the lines while Rebic attacks the depth in the central area which will create more space to the attacking midfielder.
