Sandro Tonali this season has shown a lot of quality and improvement in comparison to his performances last term. His motivation and dedication on the pitch to help his teammates and give 100% made Paolo Maldini see a great value in him, so much so that he considers rewarding him with an improved contract.
The former Brescia talent has gained the trust of the management and coach Stefano Pioli. The young Italian midfielder has recently switched agents, and he is now represented by well-known Italian agency owned by Giuseppe Riso.
According to Tuttosport in today's print edition, Paolo Maldini met the agent of Tonali a couple of days ago to discuss a salary adjustment for the youngster and an extension until 2027 isntead of the current deadline which is until 2026. Currently, Tonali earns 1.2 million euros net per season.
The idea is that the Rossoneri club directors would propose 2 million euros net as a new salary per year, which is sort of a prize and recognition for the player's hard work.
