AC Milan centre-back, Fikayo Tomori, has granted an interview to the microphones of MilanTV and said the following words:

"Kjaer? When Simon comes to Milanello everyone knows the weight he has in the locker room, it is a pity that he is injured but we are happy to see him smile and know that he is fine. We miss him a lot, but we have to finish the championship without him and we hope to do something special, also for him."

Tomori on his growth:

"I try to improve myself in every match, every time I come to Milanello I want to improve after every training session, and my goal for the 2022 season, for the rest of the season and throughout the year, is to become even stronger. . I know I can improve, I know I can learn and improve my game."

On how he is doing at Milan:

"Everything is going well, it has been a fantastic year. It passed very quickly, but I think it was the best of my career. I became a Milan player, we played in the Champions League, I am very happy, I feel good with my teammates, with the coach, I like the city, the fans… everything. The way everyone treats me makes me really happy. It's amazing how a year has already passed."

On the Champions League:

"After the game with Liverpool I was very down, I felt I had disappointed the team. When I saw the messages from the fans and how they made me feel better even then, I was fine, I felt very appreciated and loved", declared Tomori.

On goals:

"Every time we score, we get closer to achieving a result and this also makes my job easier because when we score it's easier to win and easier to defend, sometimes because other teams leave more space. Obviously I am very happy when we score, I am so focused on the match and so full of emotions that when we score you can see them all."

He added:

"This year we are still there, at the top, close to first place and there are still many games to play and the team is more compact, mature and more experienced, which is why we aim high. The coach has high expectations and for this we have a good chance of winning something because that's what we want and we've been talking about it since the beginning of the season.", replied Tomori, "There is still a lot of work to do but we are all motivated to win something this season"

On the match against AS Roma:

"It will be a difficult match, Roma are very strong and they are fighting for a place in the Champions League. Also in the first leg it was a tough challenge and we expect the same again. It will be even more difficult and we must be ready, prepare it well. We expect a difficult game, but if we play to the maximum we have a good chance of winning. We need to stay focused. I know Tammy Abraham and I know how dangerous he can be. We have to try and stop them and play like how we know."
