Sven Botman who plays as a centre-back for French side Lille is a talented 21-year-old Dutch who has been on the radar of AC Milan and Newcastle as well as some other European clubs, reportedly.
Now, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport, too, Milan have decided to set aside the track that leads to the former Ajax player, Botman.
Lille, for their part, do not want to deprive themselves of their jewel, especially in the middle of the season. The defender would have been happy to sign for the Rossoneri, though.
The French club's pricetag is more than 30 million euros. In fact, for them, his value is more than 40 million euros. Now, Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are looking at alternative profiles. They could, however, return to try to sign Botman once again in the summer's transfer market window.
