AC Milan's Theo Hernandez who was the author of a great recent performance against Venezia, is on the right path to become a truly world class full-back. The French star, 24, has been involved in 9 goals so far this season: 4 scored while 5 others were created.

His contract is due to expire in June 2024 and there are reports that Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara are accelerating to close a deal for his contract renewal soon.

Many big clubs are reportedly interested in the player, too. Besides Chelsea, there is also Premier League outfit Manchester City who are led by Spanish experienced coach Pep Guardiola. The former FC Barcelona boss wants to find a replacement for Benjamin Mendy and he is ready to sacrifice an important talented player in his team in order to snatch the Rossonero number 19.

According to what is reported by 90min.com, The Manchester City club directors are willing to propose a crazy proposal to AC Milan. The idea is an equal exchange operation that sees Portuguese versatile attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva swap shirts with Theo Hernandez. Both players are valued at 60 million euros.

Most other reports, though, confirm that Theo Hernandez is close to renew a deal with AC Milan. The player would like to remain at Milanello as he is happy there, he confirmed it in his latest interview as he said the following:

"Renewal? We are at a very good point. I have been happy here from day one. We are talking…”
