In this morning's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, there is a focus on the referee Marco Serra, who directed the Milan - Spezia match.
As per the newspaper, there is that big error that everyone noticed that would have given Milan the advantage on the scoreline. The referee immediately realised his mistake and apologised, but it is of little use. The advantage had to be granted to the Rossoneri, who would have probably won the match 2-1.
Marco Serra, however, made another mistake before that episode, which was when he initially whistled a foul for the Spezia goalkeeper instead of granting a penalty for Leao who was kicked by the shotstopper, Provedel. Luckily, VAR intervened and fixed that situation.
