Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, former Fiorentina goalkeeper has likened Marko Lazetic to a familiar Serie A super talent: Dusan Vlahovic.
Here are the words of Vlada Avramov:
"He has everything from the first-tier player, technically very good, and also something that cannot be seen from the outside. He comes from a family of great sportsmen, his father played volleyball, his uncles; former professional footballers. They follow him, they direct him with the right advice. He has sport in his DNA, he knows how to behave. It is no coincidence that on the pitch he doesn't look like he's 2004 class, but much, much more mature."
He added:
"Arriving to Italy at a young age is a risk? No, it is at Italy where one learns tactics and physique. The sooner a young person arrives, the better. And then he knows the environment, he learns the language. And trust me: those who play at the Marakana are already trained to pressure, they won't be scared even in front of the San Siro."
Can Lazetic be the new Dusan Vlahovic?
"Absolutely yes. Dusan is devastating, but Marko can repeat his career. Milan did well to get him before everyone else who wanted him."
