Hakan Calhanoglu left AC Milan to their rivals Inter, in the previous summer transfer window on a free transfer move. The Rossoneri had to rely on Brahim Diaz to fill that void.
Now, it seems that the club directors are experiencing a similar situation with Kessié again. Like Calhanoglu, the former Atalanta star is demanding a high amount of money in order to renew his contract and stay at Milanello. Otherwise, he will be leaving the club on a free to the highest bidder.
According to what is reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport in yesterday's edition, the Turkish midfielder Calhanoglu could be set to try and convince his former teammate to sign for Inter as a free agent in the summer.
The Nerazzurri have been reportedly interested in Franck Kessié and the probable exit of Arturo Vidal as well as Matias Vecino could open the doors for him for the black and blue faithful.
