AC Milan is working to lock down some of their stars for many more years as the club looks to build for the future. Corriere dello Sport write in today's edition that the club management has indeed closed negotiations for two players' contract extensions.
According to the Italian newspaper, Matteo Gabbia will be rewarded for his efforts in the last few games as he showed great availability and good potential. A deal will be announced in the next few days as he will be earning a new salary of just over 1 million euros per year.
The other player is the AC Milan French full-back Theo Hernandez who will be receiving 4 million euros per year until 2026, as we have told you already.
