The owner and president of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, spoke to his club's official channel about the sale of Dusan Valhovic to Juventus as he mentions AC Milan in a comparison:
"Barone and Pradè went to England to deal with many teams, but every time there was an offer the agents and player said no."
"That is because they had an agreement to stay here in Florence until June and ruin Fiorentina: to let the contract expire (2023) as is happening with Mbappe at PSG, Insigne at Napoli, Donnarumma and Kessie at Milan or Dybala at Juventus."
