AC Milan tonight failed to get three points in a chance to continue to be first in the Serie A table as they drew 2-2 against Salernitana.
The Rossoneri started with this lineup:

As for Salernitana, their newly-appointed coach went with the 4-4-2 module:
Sepe; Mazzocchi, Fazio, Dragusin, Ranieri; Ribéry, L. Coulibaly, Radovanović, Kastanos; Djurić, Bonazzoli.
The red and black faithful started the game well as they scored the first goal in the 5th minute thanks to Junior Messias who received a beautiful assist from Theo Hernandez.
Milan, however, missed many opportunities and were wasteful in midfield and in the final third. Too many passes were not well executed and the ideas were not very well organised. Salernitana managed to exploit the lack of organisation in the defensive phase of Milan. The hosts equalised around the 29th minute thanks to Bonazzoli.
In the second half of the game, the AC Milan team continued to waste chances and miss the final finish and execution. Salernitana, for their part, were decisive when they had another chance around the 72nd minute. Duric socred a header as he was poorly marked in the penalty box.
Ante Rebic managed to equalise by scoring from outside the area at the 77th minute. The red and black faithful were not able, however, to score the winner. The spoils were shared tonight. Stefano Pioli and his coaching staff will have a lot to analyse and discuss with the players as they must prepare now for the next game against Udinese.
