AC Milan boss, Stefano Pioli, spoke to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia after the frustrating draw against Salernitana. Here are his words:
"Ibra's absence? The team did well with and without Ibra. We weren't good from a technical point of view and we committed naivety that was then paid for at a high price."
On the team's performance:
"We started well, taking the lead, but then we lost our clarity. We were frenetic and despite the opportunities to get back in the lead, we didn't succeed. When we don't manage to play for Milan it's always a lost opportunity."
Pioli added:
"We are disappointed, me and the boys. We approached it and prepared it well. The subsequent mistakes are not ours. They are plays that prevented us from playing our usual clean football."
On the goals conceded:
"The approaches of the two halves were right. Then some technical and position errors ruined everything. We conceded too much. But when you concede 2 goals it is obvious that it becomes difficult to win. We wanted a lot more. But we will learn from our mistakes to try to win the next"
