AC Milan faced Udinese tonight in hopes to get three points and forget the draw against Salernitana from last week.
Stefano Pioli, the Rossoneri's boss, deployed the usual 4-2-3-1 module:
Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Romagnoli, Hernández; Tonali, Kessie; Messias, Díaz, Leão
As for Udinese, they took the field in the following lineup:
3-5-2: Silvestri; Becão, Pablo Marí, Peréz; Molina, Walace, Makengo, Arslan, Zeegelaar; Deulofeu, Beto
AC Milan started to launch their attacks immediately as they showed their hunger for an early goal. The players took more risks and had more possession of the ball during the first half in order to find the opener. The Bianconeri, however, were very compact and defended hard. However, that did not stop Portuguese left winger, Rafael Leao, from scoring in the 29th minute after a beautiful assist from Sandro Tonali.

In the second half, the Rossoneri seemed to fall back a little and drop in intensity. Udinese were more courageous and pressed really well in the red and black faithful's half of the field. Unfortunately, Il Diavolo team couldn't continue to hold on as Udinese found the equaliser in the 69th minute thanks to Udogie. Since then, Milan tried to build some threats and score a winner, but to no avail. Udinese, relied a lot on a counter-attacking system which proved very efficient tonight.
