AC Milan's coach, Stefano Pioli, saw his side draw for the second time in a row now. The Rossoneri failed to grab the 3 points at home against Udinese.
The former Inter and Fiorentina gaffer had this to say to the microphones of DAZN after the game:
"There was an obvious handball. The Udinese player scored with his hand. It is a serious mistake because in the end it decides the final result. Our performance was not exceptional, but the goal was to be cancelled. It is not the first time that there have been moments like this."
He added:
"The responsibility lies with whoever directs the match. We think about doing better because we have the possibility, that's for sure. Tell me when you saw my players so nervous, they were always very correct and very sporty, even today, but they were nervous because they saw situations on the pitch that were not pleasant."
Pioli continued:
"It is a situation that I am evaluating too, these games are usually difficult to unlock. We unlocked it well but we needed more attention at the start of the second half where we stopped moving forward. Too many games that we take the lead and fail to bring home the full score."
On Olivier Giroud:
"As soon as Rebic came in we conceded goals, they are players with different characteristics. We kept the full-backs lower in the second half to get their flanks out but we had to do it better."
"We are talking about a young team. We must be good at managing the pressure."
Next, there is a derby...
"It is an important match for various reasons, it would bring us close to the final of Coppa Italia. but we know the value of our opponents. We will prepare it in the best possible way."
